Job summary

Jacobs in the Northwest region seeks a Structural Engineering Professional Associate to contribute to the design and analysis of complex structures. You will work closely with the Structural Lead and other disciplines to develop concepts, perform analysis, and communicate requirements both on paper and in the model.

You will need a Civil Engineering degree with a structural focus, a PE license, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with US codes and structural software.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 4+ years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Experience with structural analysis software (Navisworks, Bluebeam).
• Experience designing and analyzing steel and concrete structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for projects as part of a design team.
• Coordinate with Structural Lead, other engineers, and disciplines to develop design concepts.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to designers/drafters; support scalable workflows.
