Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our design team. You will assist in structural analysis and design for diverse projects, collaborating with the lead engineer, designers, and other disciplines to deliver robust, code-compliant solutions.

You'll develop fundamentals in structural engineering, take on increasing responsibility, and contribute to project delivery while operating in a hybrid/remote environment within the USA Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification completed.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Familiarity with US codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, perform conventional structural engineering analysis and design.
• Develop design concepts and communicate requirements to the model and drawings.
• Manage workload, meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Collaborate with Structural Lead, other engineers, and designers.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and project standards.
