Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Professional to join our design team. You will perform a significant portion of structural analysis and design, collaborating with the Lead Structural Engineer and other disciplines to deliver robust, code-compliant solutions.

You may lead medium-sized projects or act as a Sub-Lead on larger efforts, with opportunities for growth within a collaborative, hybrid work environment. A PE license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required; PE license highly preferred.
• Experience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) and structural design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design with minimal supervision.
• Develop design concepts and deliver validated structural solutions.
• Coordinate with Lead Engineer, other disciplines, and designers.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
• Manage workload to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
