Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our design team and execute significant structural analysis and design work. You will collaborate with the Structural Lead, other engineers, and designers to develop concepts, perform analyses, and ensure code-compliant designs across projects.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Civil Engineering (Structural), a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with US codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural
• PE license is required
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with US building codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience leading small teams

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design with minimal supervision
• Develop design concepts and coordinate with designers and other disciplines
• Communicate technical requirements clearly on paper and in models
• Mentor designers/drafters and junior engineers
• Lead small teams or sub-leads on medium projects
