Job summary

You will assist in monitoring, testing, drafting and analysis, with opportunities to travel and engage in field work. Competitive hourly pay structures vary by degree program, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Interest in civil/structural engineering, materials science, architecture or architectural engineering.
• Maintaining high grades and eagerness for hands-on learning in a consulting environment.
• Strong communication abilities are essential for collaboration and reporting.
• Willingness to travel and work from heights may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction monitoring, field investigations, condition assessments and drafting.
• Analyze materials, support petrography, design test protocols and analyze data.
• Collaborate with SGH engineers on reconnaissance or field testing of structures.
• Organize field data and assist research to facilitate analysis and repair design.
• Perform analysis under licensed engineers using hand calculations and software.
• Prepare client deliverables including drawings, specs and reports.
• Travel and working from heights may be required.
