Job summary

Jacobs in the United States seeks a Structural Engineering Professional to join a dynamic design team. You will assist in structural analysis and design for projects, collaborating with the Lead Engineer and other disciplines to convert concepts into constructible solutions.

You'll develop your foundation in structural engineering, grow across multiple subject areas, and take on responsibility to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for projects.
• Collaborate with lead engineers and designers.
• Develop design concepts and communicate requirements on paper and in models.
• Ensure quality control and timely delivery of work.
