Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our design team in the United States. You will assist in performing structural analysis and design for advanced facilities, collaborating with Lead engineers, designers and other disciplines to develop concepts and deliver papers and models.

You will gain experience across multiple subject areas, assume increasing responsibility, and grow toward project leadership as you contribute to seismic design and code compliance in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, perform conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis.
• Develop engineering judgement and problem-solving skills; consult peers/seniors for guidance.
• Take ownership of structural scope; meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Work with the design team to communicate structural requirements on paper and in model.
• Ensure high attention to detail and quality control.
