Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer for its Advanced Manufacturing work. The role involves developing design concepts, producing detailed drawings for structures and infrastructure, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across design through construction.

Occasional site visits, client meetings, and travel may be required. You will contribute from day one with technical analysis, documentation, and collaboration to deliver state-of-the-art industrial facilities,

Qualifications

• PE and/or SE license is required.
• 2+ years of Structural Design experience in steel and concrete.
• Experience using structural analysis software (Staad or similar).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce design drawings across project phases.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and technical studies to support client decisions.
• Oversee production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure, and equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants to advance project goals.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations; support site visits and RFIs.
• Support construction through site visits and review of submittals.
