Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer for our Site‑Based Advanced Facilities team. You will develop design concepts, guide technical studies, and oversee drawing packages for advanced manufacturing facilities.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support projects through construction and post‑construction phases. You will contribute from day one with strong design, communication, and problem solving in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

PE and/or SE license.
Structural design experience in steel and concrete.
Experience with Staad or similar structural analysis software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with design drawings across all project phases including construction documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop design concepts and technical studies to support client decision‑making.
Oversee production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure and equipment.
Work across all design phases and support projects through construction and post‑construction engagement.
Participate in client meetings and presentations; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
Contribute to site visits, submittal reviews and RFIs during construction.
