Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to contribute to design and analysis for complex facilities, including semiconductor manufacturing and data centers. You will work with the design team to develop structural concepts, perform analyses, and ensure clear communication of requirements across disciplines.

You will grow through responsibility, align with project schedules, and leverage a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or better.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional structural engineering analyses and designs under supervision.
• Develop design concepts and communicate requirements with designers and other disciplines.
• Check own work and review peers for accuracy and quality control.
• Manage workload, meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
