Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer for a hybrid role focused on advanced manufacturing and facilities. You will develop design concepts, supervise drawing packages, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across project phases from schematic through construction.

The position requires a PE/SE license, 2+ years of steel and concrete design experience, and proficiency in Staad, NavisWorks, and Revit BIM. Travel up to 25% may be involved.

Qualifications

• PE or SE license required.
• Structural design experience in steel and concrete.
• Experience with structural analysis software (Staad or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare design drawings across all project phases.
• Proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and technical studies to support client decisions.
• Oversee production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure and equipment.
• Work across all design phases and support projects through construction and post‑construction engagement.
• Participate in client presentations, attend meetings, and conduct site analysis; coordinate with consultants.
