Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer to contribute from day one on advanced manufacturing projects, including semiconductor facilities. You will develop design concepts, perform analyses, and oversee detailed drawings for structures, infrastructure, and equipment across all design phases, from schematic through construction documentation.

Qualifications

• PE or SE license required.
• Structural engineering analysis software experience (STAAD or similar).
• At least 2 years of experience in Structural Design for both Steel and Concrete.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in preparing design drawings across all project phases (schematic to construction).
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines; work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and technical studies to support client decision-making.
• Oversee production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure, and equipment.
• Work across all phases of design and support projects through construction and post-construction client engagement.
• Participate in presentations and client meetings; conduct existing site analyses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants to advance project goals.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise to Site-Based Advanced Facilities team; contribute to state-of-the-art facilities.
