Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer to join our Site-Based Advanced Facilities team. The role focuses on developing design concepts and delivering detailed drawings for state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities, with involvement from conception through construction and post‑construction engagement.

You will contribute from day one by applying strong design and communication skills, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while working in a hybrid model that requires two days

Qualifications

• PE or SE license required.
• At least 2 years of Structural Design experience in steel and concrete.
• Experience producing design drawings across all project phases from schematic through construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and technical studies to support client decisions.
• Oversee production of detailed drawing packages for structures, infrastructure, and equipment.
• Coordinate across all design phases and support projects through construction and post-construction engagement.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to advance project goals.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise to the Site‑Based Advanced Facilities team.
