Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment.

You will bridge design concepts and field execution, ensuring structural steel, concrete systems, foundations and equipment supports meet quality, safety and regulatory standards from design to turnover.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of structural design, analysis, and field support experience.
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Civil/Structural design and analysis for site modifications, including wind, seismic, vibration, and thermal effects.
• Develop and review design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and I&C teams for integration of loads and layouts.
• Support field activities via walkdowns, RFIs, RFCs, and as-built updates with strong configuration control.
• Prepare procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) and support technical bid evaluations.
