Centrus Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment. You will ensure structural systems meet standards from design to turnover while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET) with 5+ years in design, analysis, and field support, and can obtain a Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of structural design, analysis, and field support in regulated environments.
• Strong working knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications under static, wind, seismic, vibration and thermal loads.
• Develop and review design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage to minimize field rework.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for loads, penetrations, and layouts.
• Support construction with field walkdowns, RFIs/RFCs, and as-built updates under strict configuration control.
• Create procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) for subcontracted fabrication and installation.
