Job summary

Centrus Energy in Piketon, Ohio seeks a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analyses, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical nuclear environment.

You will ensure structural steel, concrete, foundations, and equipment supports meet high standards from design to turnover, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting field execution.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil or Structural Eng.
• 5+ years in structural design, analysis and field support.
• Knowledge of AISC and ACI seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain Q level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Structural Design & Analysis for site modifications, including static/dynamic loads.
• Develop, review and redline design packages for foundations, steel, and anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams.
• Support construction through field walkdowns, RFIs, as-builts and config control.
• Prepare procurement packages for subcontracted fabrication/installation.
