Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio, seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment.

You will bridge design concepts and field execution, ensuring structural systems meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards from design to turnover. The role requires a BS in Civil or Structural Eng (ABET-accredited), 5+ years of design and field support, knowledge of AISC/ACI codes,

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
5+ years of design, analysis and field support experience, preferably in regulated/industrial or nuclear environments.
Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead civil/structural design & analysis for site modifications, including static/dynamic loads.
Develop, review, and redline design packages for foundations, steel, and equipment anchorage.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for integration.
Provide field support and ensure safety regulations and configuration control.
Prepare procurement packages and support technical bid evaluations.
