Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment.

You will ensure structural systems meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards from design to turnover. You will drive design & analysis for static/dynamic loads, develop packages for foundations and steel, and coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years in structural design, analysis, and field support.
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI codes and seismic/building standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications.
• Develop and review design packages for foundations, steel, and anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams.
• Support field construction through RFI/RFC and as-built updates.
• Prepare procurement packages for subcontracted fabrication and installation.
