Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. invites applications for a 2027 Summer Engineering Intern position in our Structural service group. You will work on civil engineering projects, learn on-the-job, and focus on construction phase activities alongside municipalities.

The role will involve design calculations, report writing, and reviewing shop drawings, with an emphasis on AutoCAD drafting and surveying basics. GPA 2.8+ and valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or closely related program.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8; preferred 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or higher with coursework in surveying and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist civil engineering projects with planning and design tasks.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support construction observation and staking duties; assist with construction administration.
