Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern for the 2027 Summer season in Minnesota. You will assist with structural projects and gain hands-on experience serving municipalities, focusing on construction phase activities.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program, with a 2.8+ GPA (3.2+ preferred), and Sophomore or higher with surveying and AutoCAD coursework. A valid driver's license and travel reimbursement are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8; Desired 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or higher with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving planning and design.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation and staking; perform construction administration duties.
• Some opportunities may include design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
