Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern for the 2027 summer season to assist with transportation projects including roadway and intersection design layouts, traffic counting, and plan production. Office reviews and cost estimates may also be part of the role.

Qualified applicants will be enrolled in Civil Engineering, with a minimum 2.8 GPA (3.2 preferred) and Sophomore or higher, plus AutoCAD drafting experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors are required.

Qualifications

• Degree program in Civil Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 (3.2 preferred)
• Sophomore or higher with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting
• Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects (planning, design)
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and administration duties
• May work on design calculations, write specs, and review shop drawings
