Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is now offering a 2027 summer internship in our Transportation service group. As an Engineering Intern, you will assist with roadway design, traffic counting, plan production, and site visits to support transportation projects.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil Engineering, have a 2.8 GPA or higher, are sophomores or above, and possess a valid driver's license. Relocation and housing are not provided, and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; preferred 3.2 or higher.
• Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and drafting; valid driver's license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving planning and design.
• Assist with reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
• Some opportunities may include design calculations, writing specifications, and reviewing shop drawings.
