Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Minnesota invites applications for our 2027 summer Land Development Civil Engineering Intern program.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting design and construction phases for land development projects while working with a team of professionals. The internship targets civil engineering students with an interest in surveying and AutoCAD drafting; a GPA of 2.8 or higher is expected, with preference for 3.2+.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; preferred 3.2 or higher
• Sophomore or higher with surveying basics and AutoCAD drafting coursework
• Valid driver's license and own transportation; travel reimbursements provided
• Willingness to work outdoors and in rugged outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving civil engineering, planning and design.
• Assist with preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
• Some internships may include completing design calculations and reviewing shop drawings
