Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineering Intern for the 2027 summer season. You will gain practical, on-the-job experience primarily with transportation construction phase activities, supporting municipalities with engineering tasks.

Qualified candidates are currently pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, with a minimum 2.8 GPA (3.2+ preferred). Sophomores or higher with surveying and AutoCAD coursework are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program or closely related program.
• GPA 2.8 minimum; 3.2+ preferred.
• Sophomore or higher with surveying/AutoCAD coursework.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects including planning and design.
• Prepare reports, plans, specs and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation and staking and admin duties.
• Some roles may include design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
