Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. invites applications for a 2027 Summer Engineering Internship in our Transportation service group. The role focuses on roads and interchanges, traffic counting, plan production, and cost estimates, with opportunities to review plans and perform site visits.

Ideal candidates are Civil Engineering students, Sophomores or higher, with AutoCAD drafting exposure and a valid driver's license. Wages range $18.00–$24.00 per hour, with benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Degree programs: Civil Engineering or closely related field, from an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8, preferred 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
• Must be able to work outdoors and navigate rugged terrain.

Responsibilities

• Assist civil engineering projects with planning, design, and execution tasks.
• Help prepare reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Support construction observation, staking, and admin duties.
• Contribute to design calculations, reports, and review of shop drawings.
