Job summary

Benesch, a growing multi-disciplinary planning, engineering, and professional services firm, seeks a Structural Bridge Designer to join our Structural team. You will work on various structural design projects with state and local transportation agencies, performing modeling, analysis, designs, and supporting calculations.

Location options include Kansas City, KS; Manhattan, KS; Wichita, KS; or Topeka, KS. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, and collaboration is essential to deliver

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• E.I.T (or pursuing P.E.) preferred.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
• Willingness to perform field inspection tasks and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements.
• Draw design details under direction of Project Managers.
• Coordinate drafting of project elements and organize calculations for design files.
• Perform field or site visits as needed.
