Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Structural-Bridge Technical Manager to lead self-perform and direct project teams in transportation structures design. You will mentor staff, drive technical analysis, and ensure high-quality engineering documents across Kansas/Missouri projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering (Structural), a PE license, 8+ years in structural engineering with a transportation focus, and MicroStation experience; 3D bridge modeling and Construction Engineering services are

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural) required.
PE License required.
8+ years of structural engineering experience with a transportation focus.
Experience with Construction Engineering services is highly desirable.
MicroStation experience required; 3D bridge modeling desirable.

Responsibilities

Mentor and direct advancement of technical staff while executing projects.
Manage technical elements of a project, including analyses and design approaches.
Perform, review, and manage technical analysis and design; ensure complete details.
Communicate progress and issues to Project Manager promptly.
Adhere to internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking.
Contribute as a technical specialist or advisor on project work.
Provide input into the growth of the practice and SME development.
