Benesch is seeking a Structural Designer to join our growing Structural team in Kansas. You will work on structural design projects with state and local transportation agencies, performing engineering models, analysis, and designs, and coordinating drafting for multiple clients.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The role involves potential travel to project sites and site inspections as needed, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT is preferred; PE in the future is encouraged.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Team player with ability to adapt to field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and perform modeling, analysis and design calculations.
• Draw design details under the direction of Project Managers.
• Coordinate drafting of project elements.
• Perform field or site visits as needed.
• Develop knowledge of applicable codes and standards; use CADD software.
