Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Structural Associate Engineering Technician in the Advanced Power Generation area. This role supports multidisciplinary teams, focusing on creating and modifying structural foundation and steel models and drawings using industry tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenBuildings.

You will work within a hybrid environment across Overland Park, KS, and other US sites, contributing to high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement within BV's power

Qualifications

• Typically, a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineering teams under general supervision.
• Performs technical tasks with intermediate knowledge of engineering principles.
• Uses CAD/BIM/3D modeling tools.
• Creates and maintains drawings and project deliverables.
• Mentors junior technicians.
• Ensures deliverables comply with BV Quality Program.
