Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Lighting Technician C in Charlotte, NC. This entry-level role involves working from aerial devices, ladders, and on the ground to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment.

Responsibilities include clearing sites, installing lighting power supply, and coordinating with the public. You may need to obtain flagging certification and operate equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.

Qualifications

• Proof of work experience and any certifications obtained.
• Ability to work with energized high voltage systems requiring specific skill set.
• Ability to climb different structures and operate required tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clear work area and maintain safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavate to assist in installation of structures or cable per contract specs.
• Communicate work with public/private property owners.
• May require flagging certification; exposed to traffic.
• Work on elevated surfaces.
• Assist lighting construction and maintenance as needed.
• Safely work with voltage up to 600 volts with minimal oversight.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.
