Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services is seeking a Lighting Technician C in North Carolina. This entry-level role involves working from aerial devices and on ladders to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment, while ensuring safe job sites and clear communication with property owners.

The position requires the ability to operate heavy equipment and handle energized high voltage systems up to 600 volts.

Qualifications

• Be able to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications obtained.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment and safe operation is required.
• Experience with energized high voltage systems is preferred.
• Ability to climb different structures and use the required tools.

Responsibilities

• Clear work area and maintain safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavate to assist installation of structures or cable as required by contract.
• Communicate with public/private property owners about work to be performed.
• Work on elevated surfaces and through voltage up to 600V with supervision.
• Assist higher-level technician in lighting construction and maintenance.
