Job summary

Via is hiring for a Strategy & Operations Principal to manage its on-site intermodal transit service in Rochester, MN. You will lead the daily operations, act as the primary contact for drivers and dispatchers, and collaborate with partners and senior management to drive results.

The role requires a highly autonomous leader with 6+ years of experience in operations and a Bachelor's degree. You will foster a world-class customer service culture and guide a growing on-site team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in operations or leadership.
• Experience leading support teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site daily operations of Via’s service on behalf of our partner.
• Prioritize operational issues as a real-time point of contact for drivers and dispatchers; optimize scheduling for a 24/7 team.
• Mentor the on-site dispatchers and shift managers; develop relationships with drivers, customers and community partners.
• Liaise with Via senior management and external partners; report against KPIs weekly.
• Develop clear metrics and ensure resources are allocated to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and regulations.
