Job summary

Via is transforming transportation with a first-of-its-kind intermodal service. The Director of Strategy and Operations will lead on-site daily operations in Rochester, MN and partner with drivers, dispatchers, and external collaborators.

You will build a metrics-driven team, develop KPIs, and report weekly to Via leadership while ensuring compliance and operational excellence in a fast-paced, people-facing role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations management or similar leadership roles.
• Bachelor's degree required; relocation to Rochester, MN.
• Independent self-starter with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site daily operations of Via's service in Rochester, MN.
• Prioritize operational issues as real-time point of contact for drivers and dispatchers; schedule 24/7 team.
• Lead and develop a large team: drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and ground staff.
