Job summary

Veeva Systems seeks a Strategy Leader for Clinical Data to drive growth with the world’s leading pharma companies. This role focuses on expanding adoption of Vault Clinical Data across SMB customers, coordinating with sales, product, and customer success to deliver strategic plans.

You will connect with clinical data leaders, IT and operations to craft market approaches, challenge traditional operating models, and ensure customer success. Remote role based in North America with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in clinical research or healthcare data flow is expected.
• Experience in product companies, CROs, or sponsors in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Experience creating study pipelines and selling technology study-by-study is desirable.
• Industry data management or consulting background is a plus.
• Sales, account management, or business development experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, creative thinking and presentation skills are essential.
• Ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions.
• Ability to discuss Clinical Data adoption with business and IT executives.
• Understanding of clinical data trends, global product development, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Growing and sustaining the customer base for Clinical Data
• Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision for emerging to mid size companies
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders within and adjacent to Clinical Data
• Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption
• Develop value-oriented materials oriented to emerging and mid size sponsors
• Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in driving adoption of Clinical Data products
• Provide business and technology guidance to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in Clinical Data applications
• Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges
• Other special Clinical Data projects as assigned
