Job summary

Illuminate USA in Pataskala, OH seeks a Workforce Strategy and Planning Principal to align human capital with long-term business goals and to develop a resource management system for optimized allocation. You will work with Executive Leadership, HR, Talent Management and Finance to translate workforce initiatives into business outcomes.

The role requires designing planning systems, modeling headcount supply and demand, and delivering actionable dashboards and reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Human Capital, Statistics, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex logic modeling) and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience extracting talent metrics from HRIS such as Workday; familiarity with BI tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Headcount planning & control system design, build and deliver real-time resource planning dashboards.
• Capacity modeling to project long-term headcount against growth targets and metrics.
• Skills gap analytics to map capabilities and identify shortages or obsolescence.
• Strategic scenario planning to model what-if scenarios for labor market shifts and automation.
• Cross-functional partnership with HR, Talent, and FP&A to align headcount with budgets.
