Job summary

Sotalent in Ohio seeks a Principal Business Planning and Resource Management Analyst to lead resource planning across budgets, workforce and efficiency, partnering with senior management, Finance, HR and strategy teams to align manpower and financial planning with business objectives.

You will oversee planning, forecasting, and reporting for multiple divisions, manage resource controllers, and drive efficiency initiatives including outsourcing and optimization programmes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant industry experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of experience in project leadership, resource planning or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead business unit and divisional resource planning across budgets and manpower.
• Manage resource controllers and ensure alignment with strategy and targets.
• Lead planning, forecasting, gap analysis and corrective actions.
• Define and track efficiency, capacity and output measures.
• Analyse trends and benchmarks to anticipate manpower and budget needs.
• Drive efficiency initiatives including outsourcing and optimization programs.
• Collaborate with other units and external consultants on cross-functional projects.
• Prepare and consolidate manpower and budget reports for senior management.
