Job summary

Guardian Life seeks a Workforce Planning Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders. You will own and evolve workforce methodologies, lead complex scenario modeling, and translate data into actionable recommendations that influence staffing decisions.

The role partners with Finance, HR, Operations, and Technology to align workforce risk with business objectives. You will mentor the team, communicate difficult concepts clearly, and drive governance across planning processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience in business, finance, math, stats, data science, analytics, or related field.
10+ years of workforce management, planning, analytics, or related discipline with ownership of complex planning work and recommendations.
Ability to translate quantitative analysis into executive narratives and decisions.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve workforce planning methodologies and governance.
Lead complex workforce planning and scenario modeling across demand, staffing, and risk.
Develop executive-ready recommendations communicating alternatives, risks, and actions.
Partner with senior leaders to connect workforce plans with budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
Mentor analysts and strengthen consultative/analytical capabilities.
