Job summary

HDR, a leader in environmental services, seeks a Business Class Lead to drive delivery, staff development, and market growth in water resource planning that meets federal standards and expectations.

The role partners with the Business Class Director and HDR peers to promote a quality culture, recruit key positions, lead or support strategic initiatives, and deliver projects with multidisciplinary teams across HDR’s nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Experience leading plan formulation for Federal clients. Specific experience with the USACE’s PR&G ideal.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as QC lead and technical lead for projects.
• Leading or supporting standards and guidelines technical tools, checklists, workflows to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participating in tactical planning including engagement with HDR to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; assist in recruitment planning.
• Working with HDR client-facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on pursuits as a lead or team member.
