Job summary

Truist seeks a Senior Payments Solutions sales professional to consultatively manage client relationships and drive revenue within Commercial Community Bank, Business Connect, Small Business Banking/Small Business Direct, and Wealth Management.

The role focuses on cash flow management, working capital concepts, and risk mitigation, collaborating with product partners to deliver liquidity and receivables/payables solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 3 years of sales experience in financial services or payment solutions
• Demonstrated ability to conduct business via virtual methods including communication, negotiation, proactive client contact, and solution presentations
• Strong knowledge of how a business operates and the financial solutions needed by the aligned business segmentations
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with ability to manage a large pipeline of deals

Responsibilities

• Executes sales plan and partners with line of business to drive opportunities and portfolio growth.
• Fosters relationships with bankers and product partners for strategic client planning.
• Manages a portfolio of clients with payments needs and working capital concepts.
• Develops detailed relationship plans to identify retention and new client opportunities.
• Provides client working capital services including receivables, payables, reporting and liquidity solutions.
• Escalates issues and risks to leadership; adheres to policies and procedures.
• Interacts with clients via email, phone, or virtual meetings to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Reports sales efforts and revenue accurately; supports administrative reporting as required.
• Leads with product knowledge and best-in-class strategies.
