Job summary

Mars Incorporated in San Gabriel Valley, CA, is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive Vet BU strategy and achieve clinic-based sales goals. The role covers East Los Angeles, Pasadena, Covina, Pomona and Whittier areas and requires field-based work within the territory.

The candidate should have 2+ years sales experience (B2B preferred), veterinary clinic experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Travel of 20–30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships and work with others to meet objectives.
• Execute Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and complete CRM and reports timely.
