Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the San Gabriel Valley, CA area. This field-based role requires living within the territory and traveling about 20-30% as needed to build clinics and partnerships.

You will translate product knowledge into business opportunities, develop a territory plan, and present data-driven insights to veterinary staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the BU. This role offers a competitive package and vehicle eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required; approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan; grow clinics within assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Build strong working relationships across stakeholders and teams.
• Collaborate to meet shared objectives and execute the sales strategy.
• Operate in a cross-functional, fluid environment and adjust strategies as needed.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust investments.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM and reports accurately.
