Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates (Royal Canin) is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the San Gabriel Valley, CA region. This field-based role requires you to live within the assigned territory and travel ~20-30% for conferences and client meetings.

You will translate clinic data into sales opportunities, develop territory plans, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers while delivering data-driven presentations to veterinary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers in the territory.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with BU & organization stakeholders across Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships and work with others to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional, fluid environments and adapt to changes.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies; manage budget and reports.
