Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the San Gabriel Valley area. This field-based role requires living within the territory and traveling 20-30% to clinics and conferences.

You will translate product knowledge into business opportunities, develop territory plans, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and deliver data-driven presentations. Mars offers a competitive salary, bonus eligibility, a company vehicle, and access to Mars University for development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan for clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, and Scientific Affairs.
• Manage budgets, CRM reports, and expense reporting.
