Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets from $250K to $15M, and guide teams through planning, execution and closeout.

The role requires a track record in project management, ability to work independently, and strong stakeholder communication. A CAPM/PMP credential is preferred. Extended hours may be needed during storms or energy emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years PM experience, or High School Diploma with 6–9 years of PM experience.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years (PMP fulfills)
• Demonstrated success at managing projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader
• Strong independent judgment, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Overall project performance for major transmission, substation, distribution, gas construction and IT initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope with recovery plans to stay within limits.
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders at executive level.
• Maintain good working relationships with project team, line managers, and interfacing orgs.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks.
• Identify and obtain project resources.
• Ensure team understands responsibilities.
