Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives with cross-functional teams across multiple operating areas.

The role requires managing scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinating with sponsors and stakeholders, including executive reviews. A CAPM (or PMP) certification and a engineering-related degree are preferred, with strong leadership and communication skills an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required, with 4–7 years of PM experience or 6–9 years with high school diploma.
• CAPM certification or achieving CAPM within two years of entry (PMP certification can fulfill this).
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with competing priorities in a multitask environment.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure costs, schedule and scope are within approved limits; develop recovery plans.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate requirements.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders at executive level.
• Mentor and lead team members; allocate resources and define responsibilities.
