Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across transmission, substation, distribution, and gas projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, guiding teams through capital approval, planning, and closeout.

Projects typically range from $250K to $15M, with extended hours during storms. The role requires 4–7 years of PM experience (or equivalent), CAPM/PMP credentials, and a strong ability to coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years PM experience (or high school diploma with 6–9 years).
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of entry (PMP covers this).
• Proven track record of managing projects successfully.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with shifting priorities.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project performance for cross-disciplinary initiatives including transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope; develop recovery plans and keep within approved limits.
• Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders on project requirements.
• Communicate with sponsor and key stakeholders at executive level and across departments.
• Foster good working relationships between project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks and obtain resources.
• Ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Interact with senior management, major customers, and regulatory officials.
