Responsibilities include building utilities and contractor connections, maintaining pipelines, and coordinating with estimating and operations to keep proposals competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a client management role.
• Experience with utilities or T-line contractors is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain connections with utilities, co-ops, and contractors.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure follow-through on commitments.
• Monitor client capital programs and pipelines.
• Identify opportunities in transmission, distribution, and civil power scopes.
• Maintain a live pursuit pipeline and report to BD leadership on opportunities and market conditions.
• Position Phillips Power early in pursuit cycles before scopes are finalized.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations to ensure competitive proposals.
• Represent Phillips Power at industry events and utility forums.
• Register and maintain standing in utility supplier portals.
• Track market dynamics and shifts affecting pursuit strategy.
