Job summary

CMAK Energy Group is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth across utility markets. You will identify opportunities, build strategic relationships with electric utilities and partners, and guide proposals from qualification through win.

This role requires frequent travel and strong communication, negotiation, and pipeline management. Based in the United States, the position is office-based with field engagement as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years in utility construction or related markets.
Experience in large project proposals and contract negotiations.
Strong client relationship management and sales mindset.
Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new utility market opportunities aligned with strategic growth.
Develop and execute customer-specific business development strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with electric utilities and industry partners.
Support bid and proposal processes with pricing strategies.
Provide market insights to improve competitiveness and win probability.
Coordinate travel and client engagement to maximize productivity.
