Principle Services is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead client development for utility clients in the power delivery and renewables markets. You will build strategic partnerships, drive growth, and manage a sales pipeline, interfacing with leadership and operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in energy, strong relationship skills, and a proven track record of achieving targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ proven experience in the energy industry.
• Experience in sales or business development in transmission & distribution and/or renewable energy markets.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: develop and implement business development plans.
• Relationship Building: build and nurture relationships with clients and partners.
• Needs Analysis: assess client challenges and propose tailored solutions.
• Sales Cycle Management: drive from initial contact to closing and maintain CRM records.
• Industry Engagement: attend industry events to promote the company.
