Job summary

NFI is seeking a Transportation Management Logistics Planning Lead in the Camden area to drive operational execution for multiple business units. The role may manage people and emphasizes collaboration on process improvement, growth, and client satisfaction.

The position requires a BA/BS and 3–4 years in transportation, with strong communication, problem solving, and leadership abilities. Travel flexibility and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• 3 - 4 years transportation-related industry experience with demonstrated acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
• Ability to meet/exceed time-sensitive deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of TMS programs used for brokerage services.

Responsibilities

• Daily operational point-of-contact for internal NFI divisions and clients.
• Provide guidance and training to TM Coordinators, Sr Coordinators and Executives/Specialists.
• Initiate continuous improvement strategies to enhance operations.
• May manage a team of TM coordinators and facilitate daily activities.
• Collaborate to create customer-specific SOPs including shipment activity, route guides and scheduling.
• Advise on best practices via supply chain knowledge and client networks.
• Identify opportunities to connect customers to other NFI divisions to drive revenue.
• Support quarterly business reviews with customers using multiple presentation methods.
• Manage SOP documentation and seek continuous process improvements.
• Work to grow existing business and adapt to client needs.
